Show me authentic faith.
Show me where your heart is
Show me who you love
Do you glorify the riches of this world?
Or do you rest in the richness of God’s love?
Do you feed the poor?
Do you pour the hope of healing into the sick?
Do you walk with the meek of this earth?
Or do you shun the weak, And lift up the powerful?
True power is found
in laying down your life
For that is what the Saviour did for you
Will you take up your Cross
And die to your selfish desires?
Surrender all to the Lord
Pray for the breaking of your heart
And see the hurt in this world
Become a catalyst for true love
Feed the poor
Pour the hope of healing into the sick
Walk with the meek of this earth
Shun the power hungry
And empower the weak.
This is authentic faith
This is where my heart is
This is how I show my love
